Equo Solidal was born as an International Fair Economy Movement, based on the exchange of Gifts, Services, Products and Professional Skills, focusing on social awareness and community action. We soon became a group of highly respected voices: we continue to involve more and more people, we welcome more and more supporters and we increase our opportunities.
Equo Solidal develops projects that promote concrete solutions, offers services for the full benefit of the community, and makes use of the highly qualified skills of its members.
Let's change the current situation and let’s be proud of being a force pushing towards positive transformation.
The Solidarity Gift
The value of the gift goes beyond what people commonly think. It has a very important social function which is to create bonds.
The gift is at the basis of economic and social practices that aim to create ways of mutual and equal exchange: of solidarity, of help.
In other words, gifts have the capability to strengthen the bonds between the individuals who make up a community. These principles show that the gift is composed not of a single free act (that of giving), but of three:
give, receive, return.
That is: gift, acceptance of the gift, reciprocate.
We donate, so that others can donate, with the satisfaction of recognizing ourselves as people in solidarity and in relationship with others.
We emerge from individualism through the gift, we ultimately refer to the Kantian moral imperative which remains among the most convincing amongst moral imperatives formulated by philosophers:
the exhortation to behave towards others as we would like others to behave towards us.
And this seems like a good goal to pursue.

It doesn't matter if you are a Lawyer, a Painter, a Musician, a Professor because every skill is essential for the progress of the Community. This path can be described as a process that develops:
